So whoever had it took very good care of it. The frame number was around 2200 but the camera appeared brand new. Looking for scratches, dents, and worn off paint. Speaking practically, your best bet is to simply examine the camera and use your best judgement about the condition. And there is some gray area regarding shutter “actuations” vs actual photos taken. But a full factory reset will start the frame counter over at 0001, so even that 6000 number is not totally reliable. Perhaps they have so much faith in their product that they believe the shutters will never wear out, so it doesn't matter? !!!!
It seems surprising that Fujifilm have never created a method of shutter counting.
Therefore, the actual mechanical shutter count is up to a maximum of the current 6000 figure but is possibly a lot less depending on the prior E-S use and Raw to Jpeg conversions? So you mean that around 6000 images (files) have been created but some of them are possibly with E-Shutter and some are in camera Raw conversions?
